I can’t do it!

If I try, I’ll probably fail anyway.

That’s way too difficult!

I always fail. Why bother?

Speaking in front of a group. No way!

Have these or other such thoughts run through your head in time of stress or opportunity? Our self-negative, inner thoughts hold us in a stand still. What can we do about them?

  • Be Aware of your verbal and nonverbal vocabulary, your mind set, your location, and the people around you.
  • Reconnect with your self-confidence and self-esteem. Put yourself in and around positive people and places.
  • Perfection be damned! “Do Your Best”! Stop the comparing of yourself with others.
  • When the silent, deadly visitor enters your mind and body: Jump Up and yell; NO! I am fantastic and can do all things!! (Do this even if it is only in your mind.)
