Today as I sit and think about our country and all those within it it comes to me that what we are facing is a lack of intentional leadership. It seems the old guard wishes to stay the same and hope for the better and the young guard is coming and asking way to many questions. The symptoms of failure are when questions are asked; answers are squashed or simply not given. The old adage comes through loud and clear. We don’t do it that way. Why? Because we don’t. When people are smacked down for so long, they either go away or work for a change. Working for a change is never easy when the comfortable has set in and leaders do not produce new leaders. That is exactly way I am seeing. Leaders so afraid of a new thought, a new way of thinking, action instead of just talk.

Leaders; Listen Up! When you do not build new leadership to follow you your organization dies when you do!

This should be a clear message for all relationships, companies, organizations – both secular and religious, and countries. Our ultimate job as leaders is to train, instruct, mentor, and coach new leaders to follow and move ahead of us.
